What is the difference between a domain-validated (DV) and an organization-validated (OV) certificate?
A domain-validated (DV) certificate is issued after verifying that the domain name is registered to the applicant. An organization-validated (OV) certificate is issued after verifying the identity of the organization that owns the domain name.
